The Style Gallery is a boutique fashion event and a platform for Scandinavian fashion & accessory brands.

The three day event will take place 8-10th of October at Cuadro Fine Art Gallery in DIFC. The Style Gallery will introduce brands already present in the market but primarily new carefully selected brands that fit the demands of the craving fashionistas in the region.

Among the participating brands are Altewai Saome – a Swedish design duo with Arab heritage and winner of ELLE Style Awards 2013 and Shamballa Jewels - a favourite with fashion royalties such as Karl Lagerfeld, HH Sheikha Mozah and Diane Von Furstenberg to name a few.

The Style Gallery is the ideal opportunity for the regional press and buyers to explore a unique selection of Scandinavian designers under one roof.

Socialites and media personalities such as my self was invited to experience the Scandinavian evening in style at its finest. Enjoyed sumptuous canapés, sushi and freshen up with some Scavi & Ray.

I am so honored to be part of this spectacular event and meet the amazing Designers and introduce me to their brands and discuss for some possible collaborations which is really dope.

Met the gorgeous designer herself, Maria Black - founder of MBJ, launch her first collection in 2010, based on a pure, uncluttered idea of creating precious metal pieces. Known for a challenging approach to the usual way of designing and wearing Jewellery. Similar to the production process of fashion apparel, each collection is initiated and interpreted by designed "fabrics" of precious metals defining and linking the collections.
The signature of MBJ is the interchangeable pieces that can be mixed and matched though collections, allowing a synergetic versatility in the individual expression.
By continuously innovating the perception of body adornment in a contemporary prêt-a-porter sense of jewelry design, MBJ strives to consistently branch-out and to revolutionize the significance of accessories in the everyday look.
The amazing man who created the Shamballa Jewels, Mads Kornerup - inspired by the Buddhist prayer beads and started to strung together gold beads with a braid nylon thread for the first time in 2001 and by then the iconic style Shamballa Bracelet was born.

Evocative of spiritual icons, symbols, and prayer beads used since the dawn of time, their jewelry encourages you to find your inner Shamballa "a place of peace and tranquility".
