TIPPLING TEA AT STRATOS

Have you ever tried a traditional English tea in a modern cozy atmosphere, with a very eccentric stylish interior design, revolving restaurant with a 360' view of the entire Abu Dhabi City, Topping it all, the tea will actually be infused with Hendricks Gin, to give you that little afternoon 'tipple'. Thanks to Nakul of TOH PR for letting us experience this one of a kind afternoon tea with a "Twist" literally.

Located on the rooftop of the Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi, tea connoisseurs can sit back, relax and sip on the finest blends whilst taking in the 360-degree view of the breathtaking skyline. Dining in style having English tea at its finest with a spectacular scenery, you'll definitely fall in love with UAE's capital.

A ritual known to have started at the beginning of the 19th century, filling the void between early breakfasts and late dinners, afternoon tea has become a fashionable pastime around the world. At Stratos, Head Chef Grant Ballinger has created three exquisite menus – the Stratos Afternoon Tea served with the finest quality of teas, the Tippling Tea served with a pot of Hendricks, cucumber, raspberry and elderflower punch, and the Champagne Tea for those who enjoy a glass of bubbly.

All three options are served with classic British sandwiches, Viennese bridge rolls, freshly baked scones, traditional tea cakes and clotted cream and homemade strawberry preserve. An afternoon tea fit for royalty – its tea o’clock at Stratos!
