Who will not be mesmerise by the pure beauty of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in UAE's capital, Abu Dhabi. Initiated by the late president of the
United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who wanted to establish a structure which unites the
cultural diversity of Islamic world, the historical and modern values of
architecture and art.
Taking a break in the Grand Mosque is possible now as the first ever café recently open right beside The Library, Australia’s largest home grown café restaurant chain, The Coffee Club, launched its third branch in the UAE and second in Abu Dhabi on the grounds of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. This branch will operate as a self-service style café where patrons can pick out their sandwich, salad, croissant, wrap, dessert and even manaoushe (popular Arabic flatbread with toppings) before proceeding to the counter to choose their coffee of choice.
Outrageous interior design is on fleek, the mix of industrial modern contemporary and the elegance ambiance are irrevocably intertwined. Always love visiting the different branches of The Coffee Club, each of them have different vibes that really reflects on the mood of every guests that will visit.
“No visit to the UAE is complete without a visit to Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The iconic structure serves as a place of education for everyone, tourists and residents alike and also an example of contemporary Islamic architecture – we are honored to have been chosen to open our latest branch at the venue,” said Mr. Michael Chick, General Manager, Liwa Minor Food and Beverages LLC.
