COMPLETE THE JIGSAW PUZZLE

There has been an evolution in menswear as internationally the power of mens’ spend increases - it feels good to look good. Conversely the want for the flashy, over-logoed, overplayed has declined. Style arbiters are looking for the anti-show, the anonymous, clothing that speaks through both simplicity and quality.

To kick of the month of September in the 40th Floor of Media One Hotel with a cosy, modern and urban theme showroom, JIGSAW have launched their Autumn- Winter Collection which i found absolutely stunning, dapper pieces definitely suit my style. Through out my blogging life its been very obvious that i am really obsessed with blazers that's why Jigsaw just tempted my soul on having them on my closet.
For Autumn/Winter Jigsaw help to cultivate the classic – not boring and staid but understated, luxe and defined.  Traditional fabrics seem somehow cooler worked into a wardrobe with simple cotton separates whether shirts, T-shirts or jeans.  Frances Walker, Jigsaw’s Menswear Design Director, takes inspiration from the art world artist citing Alice Neil’s intense oil on canvas portraits of family, friends and strangers and Anne Marie Rose’s subtle watercolour fashion illustrations as providing clarity to the vision.
Jigsaw continues to work only with the finest of fabrics: Merino wool – regarded as one of the softest - is a lynch pin of the collection and many knits also contain cashmere adding that touch of indulgence. Look for tailored knits in blazer-style cardigans, the new mock-neck jumper perfect for under suits, and jackets and slim trousers that skim the ankle to show off our continued collaboration with Sanders Shoes.
With a seasonal palette of deep royal hues, surprising pops of purple, claret and deep forest green sitting alongside navy and greys tones which continues into the finest socks produced by Corgi in Wales as well as gloves and scarves from Robert Macki.  Attention to detail is paramount still with functioning button cuffs, stitched shirt plackets, and invisible collar buttons. It’s the look of understated cool; the considered design that sets us apart from the rest of the British high street.

While browsing their stunning collection, mesmerized by the magnificent view of the Palm Jumeirah and enjoying the sumptuous treats and drinks.
