Finally! Another branch of The Coffee Club recently opened in the capital - Abu Dhabi, Marina Mall and together with that is the launch of their new menu which is Chef's Table with Arabian Twist. “In fine dining restaurants the chef’s table is in the kitchen and brings the diner closer to the action for a more intimate experience,” said Mr. Michael Chick. “By launching the Chef’s Table we hope our patrons feel closer to the vision and cooking style of our Global Culinary Director James Bradbury. Each dish is an expression of James and is a culmination of his experiences for kitchens around the world including the UAE.”
I am not being biased but, this branch is my fave of all. Because aside from the fact that it is stunning like the other branches, it has this huge mural of Marina Yacht Club Abu Dhabi! Only a few minutes away from my place too, that's why I love it!
Most of the staff knows me already as I visit The Coffee Club very religiously
On the Chef’s Table menu is the Labneh Poached Eggs. The creaminess and slightly sour tang of the labneh are heightened by the gooey, warm egg and make for a satisfying breakfast or brunch dish.
For those looking for a healthier option, the Tabbouleh Grilled Chicken with Pine Nuts and Sultanas should do the trick. The tender meat is accentuated by the juicy tomatoes in the salad and the freshness of the herb salad. Pine nuts add an element of crunch while the plump sultanas add sweetness.
The Giant Couscous Salad with Flaked Salmon and Red Apple is also a lighter option. The mouthfuls of couscous burst with flavor against with the tender chunks of salmon. The red apple adds bite and freshness to the meal while the sprinkling of feta cheese ensures a salty balance against the sweet apple.
A UAE favorite, Beef Kofta, features on the menu. The tasty meat is enhanced by the sweet morsels of pomegranate seeds and ripe tomatoes. The spinach and couscous on the side make for a complete meal.
Taking pride of place on the Chef’s Table menu is the Lamb Shank Giant Couscous and Veal Jus. Tender meat that falls off the bone, a rich, flavorful meaty jus, and the giant couscous is a guaranteed party in your mouth and will convert even the most discerning diner.
The Chef’s Table dishes will be served at The Coffee Club’s outlets across the UAE including the branches at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall, TDIC, Marina Mall, Oaks Liwa Executive Suites and at Dubai’s Wasl Vita Mall, Golden Mile on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Airport Free Zone, and Times Square Centre.
