The Day before Christmas, completing my presents for my family and friends for Christmas. Last minute shopping indeed. A sunny day, feeling fresh and yet so dapper at the same time.

How you will be casual dapper in a shopping boxing day? A pair of Happy Socks will make your day. Bright and funky socks from Happy Socks , paired with a brown leather wing tip brogues are irrevocably intertwined. A aqua blue dress shirt and beige khaki pants are perfectly matched, pastel on pastel I must say. I kept the shirt buttoned up and keep it loose to feel more comfortable at the same time. For the accessories, you will never go wrong with rose gold timepiece and a tortoise shell sunnies that never gone out of trend, and especially, my outfit will never ever complete my a use of murse or a man bag/ menvelope.

VOGUE Fashion Dubai Experience at the Dubai Mall, the grandest and glamorous fashion event for the first time here in the Middle East brought to us by EMAAR. It was held in the Fashion Catwalk, TDM. Some famous celebrities and well-known designers were invited and walk-down the red carpet, like Roberto Cavalli, Donatella Versace, Dean & Dan Caten of DSQUARED2, super-model Naomi Campbell and many more.

Since the event is extravagant, I should choose a appropriate outfit and well obviously it is. I start with this Roberto Cavalli inspired snake-skin blazer from ZARA that I got last Ramadan Sale in Abu Dhabi Mall for only AED 95. i want to accentuate the blazer so i stay focused on the detail by pairing it with a plain white dress shirt and a black skinny jeans, for my shoes a black & white double monk strap this time i got it from Marina Mall for only AED 75. for my accessories, aviator on my left pocket serves as a accent and black crocodile strap timepiece will complete my look. Just keeping it simple, yet dapper.

NEW LOOK A/W13 Collection Launch

New look is a fast fashion British Brand that offers a unique combination of fashion excitement, value and newness to core target audience of 16 to 34 year old in any gender. Within this category it has one of the highest market share in the UK. New Look has a wide range of varieties when it comes to fashion suitable for anyone, from menswear to women's wear and even children's wear , at all age to be in general.
Launched in September 2006 in the U.A.E in Deira City Center, New Look now has over 45 stores across the Middle East.
11th of September of this year, they just launched their A/Winter Collection in a exclusive event held at the Capsule Arts Warehouse in Dubai. The Russian influenced Babouska and the unique but simple New Model Army for womens.
For the Gentlemen, they taken the inspiration from Hot Rod Motorcyclists and the sophisticated charm of Downtown Abbey.
Absolutely marvelous event, kudos to New Look for their wonderful and successful launch and while celebrating the new trends indulged ourselves with delicious canapés, yummy treats, mouth watering finger foods and showered by Moet & Chandon Champagne, Corona Extra drinks.
 Downton
Taking inspiration from the roaring 1920s and the acclaimed British drama Downton Abbey, this trend has a heritage and English-gent flair that oozes sophistication.
Incorporating New Look’s re-launched tailoring range, Downton has evolved and developed to be slick, smart and suave. Whether it’s top-to-toe tailoring or mix-and-match separates, this story guarantees an elegant, pulled together finish that has a traditional English feel with a current, modern twist.
Cottons, tweeds and pinhead fabrics are used throughout, with rustic herringbone, houndstooth and tartan patterns giving a nod to the great British outdoors. Oxford shirts are layered with printed knitwear, wool waistcoats, structured blazers and finished with a paisley pocket square and textured tie.
Details include suede elbow patches, jacquard bow ties and classic flat caps that complement smart, lace-up brogues and boots. The colour palette is rich and decadent, with deep burgundy, mustard yellow, moss green and slate grey.
Downton epitomises English heritage and style with effortless ease and class.

Hot Rod
Hip Hop meets rock with the Hot Rod trend –it’s hard-edged and impossibly cool.
Leather bikers and bombers are a must-have, worn with washed black or sandblasted grey denim. Red is key and features on printed jerseys and striped knitwear. Conversational prints play a key role in transforming simple tees and jumpers – tattoo inspired graphics, leopard print and touches of paisley are all essential in giving Hot Rod its unique edge.
Predominately black, grey and white with accents of bright red and cobalt this colour palette is dark and daring. Studded rucksacks, slogan snap-backs, and contrast pumps allow this trend to lean on its accessories to inject the detail and the drama.
Hot Rod is about making a statement – the prints are powerful, the colour palette is intense, the textures are luxe and it demands attention.

Tokyo Laundry for New Look Menswear AW13
Tokyo Laundry, one of New Look’s newest brands, introduces streetwear pieces alongside more casual and relaxed basics that effortlessly complement New Look’s AW13 menswear collections.
Graphic, printed t-shirts that pay homage to the mellow scenes of California and Maui are key to the collection that mixes laid-back style with sports luxe separates and urban influences.
Bold primary colours inject a dose of vibrancy and help to transform classic chinos with shades of scarlet, cobalt and canary yellow. These tones are used for added detail on embroidered smart shirts, classic knits and polo tees. Denim is worn and distressed and easily teamed with a shirt or round-neck sweater for understated style.
The urban influence is conveyed through graphic printed hoodies and sleeveless sweats, however the whole collection lends itself naturally to layering to create sporty silhouettes and outfits.
Canvas and leather belts, cross body bags and lace-up plimsolls add the finishing touches to a collection that is all about stylish, on trend product that is comfortable and effortless.
The Tokyo Laundry collection is available at selected New Look stores across the region.

I definitely enjoyed and really had a marvelous experience during the event, a night full of glitz and glam. I personally love the theme of Downton Abbey it's suit my style as i showcasing a Simply Dapper Look land pretty much noticed by some of the magazines here in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. My favorite piece of the collection is the Brown Leather Holdall
