The Spanish luxury leather brand LOEWE officially launched their newest collaboration, the CRUZ Bag Collection in the Dubai Mall last Sunday, 17th of November. Marvelous presentation of the bags amused me, the craftsmanship and the amazing quality of the leather that really stands out from other brands.
The story of this bag begins with Penelope Cruz, the famous Spanish actress and film star who is Loewe's brand ambassador. Working along with her sister Monica Cruz, she has created this re-interpretation of the brand's signature bag.
"We really wanted the design to have a very Spanish element". The result is a fresh, personal take on the Amazona bag in 3 different sizes, with a polka dots print in blue or brown versions and a plain option black or purple. The Cruz Collection is completed with a zip around wallet and a coin purse that matches the bag.

Loewe is pleased to announce the opening of a new store in Abu Dhabi. Situated on the first level of the Galleria, Sowwah Square on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, it has been designed by Peter Marino, the world-renowned architect who specializes in creating retail spaces for high-end fashion brands.
The new store bears all the hallmarks of the aesthetic that Marino has established for the brand. Visitors to the Galleria are greeted by a façade of bronze panels finished with a macramé texture. The 72 square meters of shop floor within are covered with rich carpet in Loewe's signature "Oro" shade of pale of gold. The cool stucco walls bear fixtures in patented brass and smooth smoked larch wood, while the entrance area is made from slabs of smooth Madagascar stone.
