COMPETITION TIME AS BROOKS BROTHERS CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF ITS FLAGSHIP STORE AT ABU DHABI’S BIGGEST MALL

One of America’s oldest apparel brands and most respected fashion retailers, Brooks Brothers, is celebrating the opening of its flagship store in the UAE, located in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. To mark the occasion, I’m hosting a stylish competition in collaboration with Brooks Brothers so make sure you keep reading for more details.

The new 800 meter store takes inspiration from the brands almost century-old flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City, and features an array of its iconic collections including the Mainline collection, the collegiate men’s and women’s Red Fleece label and children’s Fleece collection.

Decked in luxurious furniture and furnishings in light cherry wood, the store radiates style and ambience for a unique shopping experience that mirrors the Brooks Brothers heritage.
For my collaboration with Brooks Brothers, I visited the grand flagship store to create four unique looks from smart attire to more casual outfits and I’d love to hear your feedback on my styling below, as part of the exciting competition.

-First Look-

Every gentlemen’s wardrobe must feature a grey suit with a buttoned down shirt, classic neck tie and not forgetting the all-important black lace up shoes. If you want to add flair, I’d recommend draping a smart overcoat over your shoulders to complete the look.

-Second Look-

Here, I’ve opted for a dapper pin-stripe suit, crisp white shirt and a classic navy bow tie and completed with velvet tassel loafers, a personal favourite of mine.

-Third Look-
When it comes to more casual looks, it’s still important to handpick each item from your wardrobe. For my smart casual outfit, I selected a mini checkered dress shirt with a unique navy hand knitted tie and this luxurious waist coat. With the top half complete, I threw on a pair of light grey trousers and two-toned brogues.

-Last Look-

For my last look, I wanted to choose a preppy outfit and fell in love with this multi-coloured cardigan! For a complementing colour clash, I chose a pink shirt, bow tie and simple khaki coloured trousers to balance the colours and patterns. My final touch to the outfit was a suede pair of Oxford shoes.

After seeing my Brooks Brothers looks, it’s now time for the GIVEAWAY!
Let me know which one of these Brooks Brothers looks is your favourite and why, leave your answers on the comment section below, for your chance to win a Brooks Brothers suit, shirt and tie!

ITS ALL ABOUT BESPOKE ETRO WAY

Men should be more conscious of what to wear and definitely a well-tailored suit or blazer will absolutely turn a frat to fierce. It has been a huge trend being so dapper even in streets, where ever you are all across the country every single men either in fashion industry or a business man wear suits and blazers all the time, like myself, as a blogger or just a simple person i am so picky when it comes on choosing what to wear either by day or night. Attending events here and there, out and about with meetings and left and right photoshoots, its been my DNA now and put a mark on being so well put together wherever whenever i go. Its such a great opportunity that i got invited to check on ETRO's AW 14/15 collection last Wednesday 12th of November at the VIP Lounge, Fashion Avenue, The Dubai Mall.
Pleasure to meet Luca Zani, Franchising Manager of ETRO tackle the history of the brand and how it make to the fashion industry and become a well established label known all over the globe. Etro is New Tradition, the sum of artisan know-how and creative experimentation.
The venture began in 1968 when Gimmo Etro, the brand’s visionary founder, launched a production of highly prestigious fabrics, which he embellished with original designs and innovative colour ways.

In 1981 the furnishing textiles line made its debut. The Paisley motif used to enrich the first collection was set to become the Etro mark of identity. The product range added another string to its bow in 1984 with leather goods and the bag collection in Paisley jacquard fabric.
In 1986 Etro launched the home accessories and complements collection, consolidating the brand’s life style concept. The creation of the Etro Perfumes division in the late 1980s was a natural consequence: today the collection extends to 24 exclusive fragrances and a dedicated boutique.
The 1990s saw the unveiling of Etro first men’s and women’s prêt-à-porter collections, their inventive and recherché style earning the label instant recognition.

The VIP Lounge of the Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall is such an amazing place to cater this kind of scenery and offer us such an incredible brunch, sumptuous canapés & fine refreshments for us to enjoy while browsing the impeccable pieces from the collection.

BESIDE THE METRO

Photography by Mark Ross
What i wore: Eyewear (TRIWA), Shoes (CLARKS)

Casual day out with my new fave essentials, especially here in Dubai the sun is tremendous always on point we need some protection for our eyes but yet stylish at the same time, i recently got this amazing pair of sunnies from TRIWAmade with classic cuts, contemporary detailing and silhouettes carefully developed to flatter your features. Inspired by the short but vivid summer in Stockholm where, for a short period of time, the otherwise restrained colour pallet of the Swedish population grows adventurous. Perfect for any kind of outfit you want to pull-off in any occasion, this impeccable eyewear will definitely makes an outfit get them from Mojosa Concept- an international luxury accessory brand that is bringing Scandinavian Design to the Middle East through three different brands: Triwa, Louise Kragh and Story. Mojosa Concept was founded in the United Arab Emirates, Danish owned and is a multi - brand concept specializing in Scandinavian designed jewellery for men and women.

I started my outfit with a navy shirt and paired with a khaki pants, and the brown leather braided belt matches with my new CLARKS Gatley Limit tan leather shoes with stunning blue laces that irrevocably intertwined with my top. Incredibly comfy, with or with our socks, dress it down or dress it up, this pair of Clarks will absolutely take you around the city in style at its finest.
